The band let it all hang out for the three-hour performance, as they started things off with a four-song first set and brought out some special guests to make night two memorable. After the first set only featured four songs, “Reactor,” newer song “The Champions,” “Mr. Don,” and “Magellan,” the Biscuits had some fun with a few friends at the festival. Percussionist Ed Mann joined the Biscuits for a cover of Frank Zappa’s “Pygmy Twylyte,” before the band broke into “House Dog Party Favor” and “Little Shimmy In A Conga Line.” From there, former Dopapod drummer Scotty Zwang joined the fray, adding his percussive touch to the Biscuits’ song “Tricycle.” Finally, the band returned to “Little Shimmy” and ended the set from there. With just a little more time, the band ended their Great North run with an encore of “Home Again,” as the crowd cheered in delight for the fan-favorite selection. Fortunately for us, the band has shared pro-shot videos of the whole affair, for your viewing pleasure below. You can see the full setlist below as well.last_img
